Top 3 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Tips for first timers

Boo to you!! Mickey pumpkin season is here and we couldn’t be more excited! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is happening on select nights at the Magic Kingdom from now through November 1,2023. This special event takes place after park hours where you can enjoy all the exclusive offerings with your party ticket. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets range in price by date from $109-$199 per person.

At this event you can trick-or-treat, enjoy party exclusive food/drinks, meet rare characters, and see incredible entertainment such as Mickey’s Boo To You Parade!

The party starts at 7:00pm and goes until Midnight. Party goers can get into the park with their party tickets as early as 4:00pm. Even if you are not attending Mickey’s Not So Scary it is a good idea to check when they are happening because Magic Kingdom WILL close earlier than most regular park days when a Not So Scary Party is happening. 

Here are my top 3 tips to make the most of your first time at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party experience:

1. Don’t dilly dally! Get to the Magic Kingdom for 3:30PM

Arrive at the Magic Kingdom Main Entrance between 3:30pm-4:00pm to line up to enter with your party ticket. Once you enter – take pictures, experience attractions, or grab an early dinner before the party kicks off at 7:00pm.

2. Wait to Trick or Treat!

Trick-or-treat lines are typically shorter in the middle/ towards the end of the party. If you are looking to trick-or-treat right off the bat then head over to Adventureland or Frontierland. Most people will head straight to Tomorrowland or Fantasyland once they leave Main Street USA from picking up their trick-or-treat bags + party maps.

3. Park it in Frontierland/Liberty Square Area for the Boo to You Parade!

Frontierland/ Liberty Square area is less crowded than by the castle and Main Street USA for Boo to You parade viewing. We recommend grabbing a spot at least 30 minutes before it starts in Frontierland. Parade times are 9:15 pm and 11:15 pm.
